SCOPE OF POSITIONThe Rehab Services Manager has the responsibility for the day to day management and supervision of all therapy services provided at the facility and/or clinic. This includes program planning/development/implementation, complying with all licensing/accrediting agencies, and maintaining the department's equipment in a safe manner. This position is responsible for completing performance evaluations for all direct reports and assisting them in their professional development. He/she is responsible for financial viability of the departments including participating in annual capital and operational budgeting process, monthly variance reporting. He/she is responsible for cost-effectively managing all clinical rehabilitation services including budgets, resource allocation, standards of practice and adherence to regulatory standards. The Rehab Services Manager is expected to perform the duties of a therapist and carry a partial patient caseload, in addition to administrative duties. He/she will orient and direct the training of new team members and assist with the supervision of students. He/she will also carry out other duties as assigned.REPORTING RELATIONSHIP---See Table of Organization.EDUCATION EXPERIENCE---Must be a graduate of an accredited therapy program (PT, OT or ST). A minimum of three years experience practicing as a PT, OT or ST. At least one year of previous management experience preferred.Valid and active license for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy in the appropriate state or eligibility for the appropriate state licensure.CPR is required
