Your Role:As the Loan Servicing Specialist you will be responsible to perform necessary servicing functions during the life of the loan. Ensure loan file integrity and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of bank policies and procedures. This position requires the flexibility to work before or after normal business hours as necessary to meet deadlines and the needs of the Bank.Position Qualifications:To be successful in this role you must:Possess a High School diploma/GEDTwo-four years related experience and/or training requiredPossess a knowledge of basic accountingPossess proficient computer skills in order to operate various computer systems and softwareMust be self motivated and possess strong organizational skills in order to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlinesPossess strong attention to detailDisplay characteristics of a team playerPossess professional communication skillsBe service orientedPossess strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and efficiencyMust be a notary or willing to complete the notary trainingAbility to multi-task in a fast paced, ever changing environment Key Functions:In this position you will be expected to:Follow up on outstanding items on the various settlement accountsManage emails, including but not limited and various maintenance and research requestsApply and enforce compliance/regulatory mattersCommunicate with relationship managers and support staff on various topicsInvestigate and process participation payment rejectsSend audits to participating banks to assure balances matchSend payoff quotes and process payoffs receivedBalance, post, and wire participation paymentsInvestigate, communicate & process payment rejects by 10:30Review release deeds for accuracyProcess paid out loan files by preparing release deeds, noting of lien, etc. send for recording and return collateral to customer and send copies to imaging departmentMaintain collateral for file and send copies to imaging departmentPrepare monthly reports for blanket insurance coverage, Small Business Administration loans, etc.Post loan payments accurately & timelyMaintain department suppliesMaintain compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirementsProvide back-up support to Escrow Specialist as neededComplete other duties as assignedYour TeamThe Loan Operations Team is a division of Loan Administration which manages various aspects of loan origination, documentation and servicing. As a member of the Loan Operations Team, you will work closely with all divisions of Loan Administration to ensure data integrity throughout the lending process.
