This role is pivotal for ensuring timely, safe, and compliant delivery of goods in dedicated routes, maximizing customer satisfaction and maintaining Riverside Transport Inc’s high standards. Operate a Class A truck over dedicated routes to ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight. Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure and undamaged delivery of goods. Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Adhere to company rules and regulations regarding the handling and transportation of goods, as well as safety and environmental policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customer service teams to update on trip status and manage delivery schedules. Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure proper maintenance and compliance with all standards. Strong driving skills with the ability to handle large vehicles over long distances Excellent time management to adhere to fixed schedules Good physical condition to manage freight loading and unloading Effective communication skills for interaction with dispatch and customers Problem-solving skills to address and manage any unexpected situations or delays Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A) Clean driving record DOT medical certification
