Shift Leader
DESCRIPTION
As one of our Shift Leaders, you are responsible for directing an
efficient workflow and assisting the Store Manager in a variety of
store operations duties. This position serves as a role model of
barista responsibilities and serves as one who leads the team, when
the Store Manager is unavailable.
Our Shift Leaders create an accomplished work environment who
encourages other associates to be the very best they can be on the
job. The Shift Leader also holds themselves accountable as well as
others to follow Scooter's best practices. We all serve the
customer by providing amazingly fast, interactive-friendly service
and consistent, high-quality products. You just may be the person
who brightens a customer's day with your bright smile and kind
conversation. This role is responsible for performing all job
duties in a manner consistent with current company processes and
procedures. Faithfully maintain all food safety, perform work in a
safe, proficient manner and maintain store / food sanitation
standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
--- Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing
brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations
issues, and leading the team in delivering the Scooter's "Amazing"
customer service experience
--- Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods
by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating
customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next
rush
--- Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team
members
--- Develop effective working relationships with team members,
identifying individual motivation factors
--- Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team
sales
--- Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and
operational procedures in an accurate, consistent manner
--- Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation
guidelines
--- Serve as a key-holder, following all opening and closing
procedures
--- Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability
dressed in appropriate attire and ready to be an amazing person to
each life you touch.
--- Maintain personal hygiene
--- Assist Store Manager with administrative duties as
requested
