Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU/Pediatrics Location
Asheville, NC Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract
position. Schedule 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM Job Description We are
seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Respiratory
Therapist (RRT) for our NICU/Pediatric service lines. The ideal
candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care and support to
our patients, working collaboratively within a dedicated team.
Responsibilities Perform all airway and ventilator management
procedures, including intubation and extubation. Conduct capillary
and arterial blood gas collection and analysis. Manage high-risk
deliveries effectively. Utilize advanced respiratory equipment,
including Draeger Infant/Peds vents and Hamilton transport vents.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to
patients. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must
have a current North Carolina Respiratory License. Certification as
a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is mandatory; CRTs will
not be considered. BLS, PALS, and NRP certification required.
