Job Description:
HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of patient-centered medical
care across multiple facilities, is seeking a dedicated Nurse
Educator specialized in Medical Surgical topics to join our
education team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in
advancing the knowledge and skills of our nursing staff, focusing
on the medical-surgical aspects of healthcare, which forms the
foundation of our caregiving standards. This role involves
developing, coordinating, and administering comprehensive training
programs that are in line with the latest clinical practices and
our organizational mission to improve human life. Develop and
update curriculum and educational materials for medical-surgical
nursing courses. Coordinate and conduct ongoing training sessions
for current staff and new hires. Evaluate the effectiveness of
training programs and implement improvements. Support the
professional development of nursing staff through mentorship and
coaching. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure
that training standards meet the latest clinical guidelines. Strong
understanding of medical-surgical nursing principles. Excellent
teaching and mentorship abilities. Ability to assess educational
needs and design appropriate training. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills. Proficient with healthcare technology and
educational software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing (CMSRN) is preferred.
