We are currently seeking a dedicated PRN Nurse Extern to join our team, where you will gain invaluable experience in a dynamic, patient-focused environment. In this role, you will support the nursing staff by providing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. This position is key to maintaining the high standards of care that HCA Healthcare prides itself on. Assist in the delivery of patient care under direct supervision of registered nurses Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients Provide necessary health education training for patients and families Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Strong clinical skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of healthcare safety protocols and procedures Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing school with completion of at least one clinical semester
