Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites aspiring nursing professionals to apply
for the position of Nurse Extern in our Cardiovascular Progressive
Care unit. This PRN role provides a dynamic environment where you
will support the delivery of sophisticated care to heart patients
while gaining unparalleled industry experience in a fast-paced
unit. You will work alongside seasoned professionals, aiding in
treatments and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Assist nursing
staff with clinical tasks, patient care, and monitoring. Support
patient assessments and record vital signs under the supervision of
a registered nurse. Prepare and manage patient documentation.
Educate patients and families on treatment care plans. Maintain a
clean and safe environment for patients. Strong communication and
organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced
environment Basic clinical skills and familiarity with healthcare
machinery Patient and compassionate professional demeanor Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart
Association or ability to obtain.
