ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Bristol, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/05/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Neuro Job Details: • Work 36/36 schedule with every other weekend coverage required • Maintain 1:7 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends • No call responsibilities • Floating to other units required • Must have 1 year of nursing experience • Community hospital experience required • First time travelers accepted • AHA BLS certification required, NIHSS preferred • Epic charting system experience required • Care for adult and geriatric patients on 35-bed unit with daily census of 35 • Work with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams • Skills include med/surg care, rapid response/code team participation, peripheral line management, oxygen administration, and isolation precautions • Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education • 12 hours of non-billable orientation beginning on Sundays with online modules • Must live 100 miles from facility • Drug test must be completed 12-14 calendar days prior to start date • Facial hair must be trimmed for CDC fit testing guidelines Facility: This regional medical center operates as a community hospital providing comprehensive healthcare services to the surrounding area.
