Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is searching for a dedicated Transition to
Practice Nurse Educator specializing in ICU and CCU to enhance the
competencies of our nursing staff. This role involves developing
tailored educational programs and directly supporting the
professional growth of nurses transitioning from academics into
critical care environments. The Nurse Educator will be pivotal in
fostering a supportive learning atmosphere while ensuring adherence
to our high standards of patient care. Develop, implement, and
evaluate educational programs tailored to new nurses in ICU and CCU
settings. Provide one-on-one mentoring and coaching to ensure
clinical competencies and patient care excellence. Utilize
up-to-date clinical practices to create engaging and effective
educational materials. Assess learning needs and the effectiveness
of programs, adapting strategies as necessary. Coordinate with
healthcare teams to facilitate comprehensive training experiences.
Strong teaching and mentorship abilities Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of critical care
nursing practices Ability to assess educational needs and design
appropriate training Proficient in using medical educational

Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) preferred Basic Life Support
