Job Description:

Labor and Delivery, you will oversee the daily operations of the
unit, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care while
maintaining the highest safety standards. You will collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams, participate in clinical decision-making,
and mentor nursing staff. This role is pivotal in fostering an
environment where safety, respect, and compassionate care govern
every interaction. Supervise and manage the nursing staff within
the Labor and Delivery unit. Ensure compliance with all healthcare
regulations and safety standards. Collaborate with physicians and
other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
delivery. Participate in the recruitment, training, and mentorship
of new staff. Monitor patient care for quality assurance and
implement improvements where necessary. Strong leadership
capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with an ability to multitask Proficient in
healthcare management systems and computer-based applications
Expertise in patient safety and quality improvement Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice BLS
Certification ACLS preferred Certification in Inpatient Obstetric
Nursing (RNC-OB) is a plus
