Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Compunnel Healthcare Pay: $2,050 to $2,120 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Adjunctive Therapist Traveler - 8:00AM-5:30PM SAT - TUES Procedures performed on unit: Completes Activity Therapy Assessment, runs psychotherapeutic group activities for adult, child, adolescent and geriatric patients and documents in medical record. Typically you are completing assessments and treatment plans for new patients and running four groups a day on various units. Applicant would be the primary group facilitator but RN’s and Techs will also be present in the group to be compliant with staff to patient ratios. Certifications Required: Bachelors degree in relevant field (e.g. activity therapy, recreational therapy, music therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, occupational therapy, expressive arts therapy) Certifcation, licensure, or registration in appropriate area. For example, NC Licensed Recreational Therapist or Associate (LRT or LRT-A or CTRS), Registered Art Therapist (ATR), Music Therapist (MT), Dance Movement Therapist (R-DMT) or similar certification. If unable to source alternative therapies therapist could potentially use a LCSW, LCMHC or LMFT.
