Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: CPI, BLS Must-Have: Ability to work in stressful situations. We serve as the region's referral center with comprehensive services including trauma care and a neonatal intensive care unit. Our staff is trained to manage a variety of behavioral health populations including adults, children, adolescents, and geriatrics. The unit has 23 beds and a staff comprised of registered nurses and behavioral health technicians. The typical patient ratio is 5-8. Typical equipment includes vital sign machines, glucometers, IVs, oxygen, code carts, bladder scanners, and EMR systems. We respond to psychiatric emergencies and perform procedures such as blood draws and wound care. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments and can manage high-stress situations effectively. Weekends are required, but there is no on-call duty.
