Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position
offers a unique opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to
support students from PreK through 12th grade in a K-12 school
setting within Asheville, NC. This contract role runs from January
20, 2026, through May 29, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 37.5
hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience in
school-based occupational therapy and the ability to collaborate
with educational teams to enhance student development and learning.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy interventions
tailored to students' individual educational needs. Collaborate
with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and
implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Assess student
progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Provide support
across multiple settings including in-classroom, resource rooms,
and potentially teletherapy sessions. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience providing occupational therapy in school environments,
ideally within K-12 settings. Familiarity with home health and
healthcare OT practices is beneficial. Ability to conduct
teletherapy sessions when necessary. Strong communication and
teamwork skills. Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Location: Position based in Asheville, NC serving a local school
