On-site (schedule based on clinic operations) Position Summary
Jacob’s Creek Job Corps Center is seeking a qualified LVN/LPN to
join our Health Services team. This role supports the delivery of
on-site medical services for students ages 16–24 , in accordance
with Job Corps Health & Wellness policies, federal regulations, and
state nursing standards. The LVN/LPN plays a key role in providing
direct nursing care, supporting clinic operations, and promoting a
safe and healthy learning environment for students. Key
Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care including triage,
vital signs, medication administration, treatments, and basic
clinical assessments. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in
student health records in compliance with HIPAA and Job Corps
requirements. Support medication management , inventory control,
and infection prevention practices. Collaborate with the Nurse
Practitioner, providers, and Health Services staff to ensure
continuity of care. Educate students on health, wellness, and
preventive care topics. Participate in clinic meetings, trainings,
and quality improvement initiatives as assigned. Minimum
Qualifications Current, unrestricted LVN/LPN license in the State
of Tennessee. Current CPR/BLS certification . Ability to work
effectively with diverse populations, including young adults.
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and
student-centered care. Preferred Qualifications Experience in
primary care, school-based health, public health, or occupational
health. Prior experience in Job Corps or federally regulated
