Job Title BACKFILL - TRAVEL - RN - ED CARE CTR (780) City/State: Asheville, North Carolina Shift: 18:45-07:15, Nights Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 11/23/2025 Job Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department Care Center to provide exceptional patient care in a high-volume setting. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. Maintain patient ratios, typically 4:1 for medical cases and up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including techs, unit clerks, and other staff members. Perform cardiac monitoring and participate in the internal processing area and triage. Ensure patient experience requirements such as AIDET and respectful behavior are met. Requirements: 2 years of experience as a nurse, with at least 1 year in an ER setting. Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department. Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC within 90 days of hire. Comfortable with using Cerner for documentation.
