Roles & Responsibilities Provide high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation nursing care to adults on an inpatient rehab unit Manage and monitor IV pumps, feeding pumps and specialty equipment to ensure patient safety Perform thorough, timely documentation in Meditech to maintain continuity of care Collaborate with therapy teams and multidisciplinary staff to support patient recovery goals Assess, triage and intervene for patient needs, keeping safety and infection control top of mind Deliver compassionate education and support to patients and families throughout the rehab process Contribute to a positive patient experience on a CARF- and Joint Commission-certified unit Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (active) — able to practice in North Carolina (compact license acceptable if valid) BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience (rehab or medical-surgical experience strongly preferred) Familiarity with Meditech documentation system Comfortable with equipment used in rehab: IV pumps, specialty beds, lifts/transfer devices, feeding pumps Experience or familiarity with dialysis procedures is a plus Knowledge & Skills Strong clinical skills in rehabilitation and medical-surgical nursing Proficient documentation and charting in Meditech Ability to safely operate and troubleshoot IV pumps and specialty rehab equipment Excellent communication and teamwork across disciplines Time management and prioritization for 12-hour shift workflow Patient-centered care mindset with focus on recovery and functional outcomes Benefits Generous housing stipend and travel support to make your move easy Medical, dental & vision coverage to keep you healthy Licensure assistance & reimbursement so paperwork is one less worry Paid time off to recharge between assignments Travel reimbursement and onboarding support for a smooth start A supportive team that values YOU — friendly staff and a collaborative culture Professional development opportunities and access to specialty rehab experience Uniform guidance provided (navy scrubs with white tops) and unit-specific orientation Travel Perks: Explore Asheville, NC Located in the heart of Western North Carolina, Asheville is a playground for outdoor lovers and culture seekers alike.
