Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – North
Carolina Start Date: December 21, 2025 Location: Asheville, North
Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend required; scheduling must meet
department needs. No block scheduling available. Flexibility to
work in all sections of the Emergency Department required.
Highlights: 101-bed Emergency Department at a Level 2 Trauma Center
and Comprehensive Stroke Center High-volume environment with over
100,000 annual visits Typical patient ratios of 4:1 for medical
patients; up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds Full support staff
including techs, unit clerks on days and nights, and cardiac
monitoring team Cerner documentation system with Baxter pumps and
GE monitoring equipment Serve a diverse, multi-cultural community
representing over 120 languages Requirements: Active Registered
Nurse license Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1
year in an Emergency Department setting Previous experience in a
Level 2 Trauma Center or high-volume ED strongly preferred Required
certifications before start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and
NIHSS ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
Demonstrated teamwork mentality with ability to coach and provide
real-time feedback Flexibility to float to all sections within the
