LocumJobsNetwork is working with Curative to find a qualified Pulmonology MD in Norton, Virginia, 24273! Pay Information $250 to $265 per hour About The Position Pulmonology Locums with Flexible Block Scheduling in Virginia An ongoing need exists for a Pulmonology Physician in Virginia focusing on a specialized Black Lung Clinic . This temporary assignment offers flexible block scheduling and is Open to IMLC Physicians . Contact me for details on available dates starting in the winter. Highlights Flexible Schedule: Only 1-2 weeks per month needed-you pick the dates that work for you. Open to IMLC Physicians or those with a VA license . Short-term coverage for approximately 6 months . Travel and Lodging Provided for the assignment . Practice Setting Primary coverage for a specialized Black Lung Clinic . Practice setting is inpatient with consult coverage. Patient age group includes Adults and Geriatrics . See 5-10 patients per day in the clinic. No in-house Pulmonology MDs -your expertise is highly valued. Schedule Shift-based schedule of Monday-Friday , 8a-6p ( 10 hours ). Scheduled Clinical Hours with Optional On Call for night consults. No additional night call required , but consultation assistance would be appreciated. Block scheduling allows for long stretches off between assignments . Procedures and Cases Clinical focus is on the Black Lung Clinic . Provides daily shifts and inpatient consults as needed. Requirements Board Certified Physician in Pulmonology . Must hold a Virginia license or be an IMLC Physician . Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS . Must have a VA DEA registration. Credentialing Requirements Privileging timeframe is estimated at 90-120 days . A clean file could result in a faster turnaround time .
