Join our healthcare team and make an impact in cardiac care while enjoying the scenic Appalachian Mountains.\n \n\nJob Details – CT / Rad Tech Travel Assignment\n \n Location: Kingsport, Tennessee 37660 (East Tennessee healthcare jobs)\n Facility Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory\n Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/12/2025 – End: 1/11/2026)\n Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:30 – 18:00); some late shifts may exceed 10 hours\n Call: 2-3 weekends plus 2 days a week call in a 6-week schedule\n Estimated Weekly Salary: $2500-$2560\n Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics\n Imaging Systems: Siemens Sensis/Epic, Philips Systems\n \n\nQualifications – CT / Radiologic Technologist\n \n Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a CT Tech or Radiologic Technologist in a cardiac cath lab or related radiology setting\n Active ARRT (R) and CCI RCIS certifications required\n Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications\n Ability to scrub and monitor diagnostic and complex interventional cardiac cases (EP experience preferred; structural heart experience a plus)\n Permanent residence must be at least 100 miles from the hospital's service area\n Valid Tennessee radiology license in-hand at time of submission\n Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)\n Willingness to complete drug testing and fit testing per CDC guidelines prior to start\n \n\nKey Responsibilities – Cardiac Cath Lab Tech\n \n Scrub and assist with electrophysiology (EP) device procedures (pacemakers, ICDs, Micras, etc.)\n Scrub and monitor diagnostic and complex interventional cardiac cases\n Set up and operate specialized cardiac imaging equipment\n Maintain sterile field and adhere to strict sterile technique protocols\n Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias\n Perform and assist with cardiac catheterizations (left/right heart), PCI, PTCA, IABP placement/removal, rotablader athrectomy, and cardiac stent placement\n Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care\n Participate in scheduled call rotation\n \n\n \n Kingsport, TN offers a welcoming community, affordable living, and abundant outdoor recreation.
