role today! Job Summary and Qualifications Lead the implementation
of, and provide ongoing support for standardization, utilization,
integration, and optimization activities related to the electronic
health record and other clinically related technologies Major
Responsibilities: Strategy • Support DVPCI in executing on the
division framework and strategy for technology initiatives and
evaluation that aligns with the enterprise framework for clinical
informatics and division goals • Support DVPCI in shaping corporate
strategy by providing data-driven feedback on needed new or
upgraded technologies based on clinical requirements • Support
DVPCI in leading division-wide informatics governance committees to
alignment with current strategies and initiatives; and act as
advisor to facility informatics governance work Delivery and
Operations • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary
leaders to execute on short and long term goals and implementation
plans for clinical information systems in partnership with the
Division ITG leadership team. • Support strategic and operational
leadership in the development, deployment, re-engineering, and
integration of division clinical information systems to support
clinicians • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement new
clinical systems or programs to enhance existing services and raise
the standard of care for the patient population served • Lead
division governance processes related to clinical information
systems • Collaborate with ITG leadership to ensure standardization
and application of best practice models • Represent physician and
nursing interests in partnerships with clinical, operational, and
IT leadership to translate clinical needs into information system
needs • Assist DVPCI in directing clinical workflow and dataflow
analysis to support technology development and deployment Provides
Support by • Coordinating across division to ensure federal and
state program requirements for quality, safety, electronic health
records and payment models • Performing other duties as assigned
What qualifications you will need: Required Education: Bachelors
degree Preferred Education: Masters degree Preferred Experience: •
3 years of experience in clinical practice Preferred • 5 years of
experience in leadership with oversight of clinical informatics
initiatives Preferred License, Certification, & Training:
Informatics Nurse or other licensed clinician (Pharmacy, MD, etc.)
