It is licensed for 815 beds and serves as a referral center for trauma and stroke care. The hospital has received numerous accolades for clinical excellence. Candidates must possess strong medical/surgical nursing skills. Telemetry experience is essential for this role. Typical procedures performed include peripheral IV starts and dressing changes. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 6:1 during the day and 7:1 at night. Travelers may float to other medical/surgical units as needed. Nurses will be required to work every other weekend or six weekend shifts per six-week schedule. Dress code is navy scrubs or white top with navy pants.
