12 hours Experience: 1-2 years minimum License: Active RN license
Certifications: ACLS, NRP, BLS, PALS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Experience in obstetrics,
gynecology, and neonatal care - Knowledge of pregnancy and preterm
labor triage and observation - Competence in labor care, CS
recovery, postpartum care, and gynecological procedures - Ability
to work with a diverse patient population, including infants,
adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Description: A registered nurse
is needed for a Labor & Delivery position. This role involves
providing comprehensive care to patients during pregnancy, labor,
and postpartum. The nurse will work in a unit focused on women's
care and will care for patients experiencing various stages of
labor and gynecological procedures. The job requires strong
clinical skills and the ability to monitor fetal health during
labor. The nurse will also participate in recovery care for
cesarean sections and support in postpartum care. A commitment to
patient safety and quality care is essential. Candidates must have
the required certifications and a strong foundation in nursing
practices related to the specialty. Flexibility to accommodate
additional duties as needed is important.
