- Certification Details
- AHA BLS Required, NIHSS preferred.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- BLS - Basic Life Support.
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
- Tech Cert Verification - National.
- HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement.
- State License 1 Verification.
- NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP).
- Job Details
- 36/48 schedule.
- AHA BLS Required, NIHSS preferred.
- Every other weekend.
- No Call.
- Floating to other units required.
- General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be
online CBLs. Traveler can start any Sunday upon completion of
compliance documents by the deadline.
- Please include in the confirmation: 16 hours of nonbillable
orientation.
- Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a
financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule if
there is a decrease in census.
- Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as
additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital
census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty.
- Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively
participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we
prepare future nurses for the profession.
- The clinical nursing student education responsibility is
expected in addition to/alongside the provision of clinical care
practice in every nursing specialty at Ballad Health.
- First time travelers accepted.
- ALL TRAVELERS MUST LIVE 100 MILES FROM THE FACILITY
- Job Requirements
- 1 year of experience.
- BLS.
- Community hospital experience required.
- Schedule Information
- 36/48 schedule.
- Every other weekend.
