• National HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement State License 1 Verification NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam Competency Exam Job Details 36/48 schedule Travelers do not administer chemo Every other weekend No Call Floating to other units when needed Job Requirements 2 years of experience AHA BLS First time travelers accepted Previous Charge Experience Preferred ALL TRAVELERS MUST LIVE 100 MILES FROM THE FACILITY General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. Schedule Information 36/48 schedule Every other weekend No Call Floating to other units when needed Additional Details 16 hours of nonbillable orientation. Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule if there is a decrease in census. Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty. Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession. The clinical nursing student education responsibility is expected in addition to/alongside the provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty at Ballad Health.
