If this sounds like the opportunity that you've been looking for, apply for this position today!Primary Responsibilities:Ensures effective and efficient daily operations within the wellness (Nursing Care) department.Directly supervises nursing and personal care staff in the management of resident well-being and care.Assesses the health, functional and psychosocial status of residents and proactively manages their careDevelops the Wellness teamEnsures superior care and promotes service excellence.Ensures that the community meets all Federal and State guidelines and requirements.Education/Experience/License/CertificationMust have a caring heart, willing to serve othersCurrent state RN license as required by state regulationsThree years of nursing experienceTwo years supervisory experience requiredMust have experience in hiring staff, managing budget and managing schedules.Current CPR certificationBachelor's degree in Nursing from accredited nursing college or university (Preferred)Current First Aid certification (preferred)Experience in Assisted Living or Long-term care (preferred)Experience in dementia care (Preferred)Must be flexible and prepared to assist on a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
