Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dedicated
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide
comprehensive speech and language services within a K-12 school
setting located in Sylva, NC. This contract position spans the
current school year (CSY) and offers the opportunity to support
students across a wide range of developmental stages. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments to
identify student needs. Develop individualized treatment plans and
goals. Implement therapy sessions tailored to each students unique
communication challenges. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and
other educational staff to support student progress. Maintain
accurate records and documentation in compliance with school
policies. Participate in team meetings and contribute to
multidisciplinary student support. Desired Qualifications and
Experience: Valid state licensure and certification in
Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working with K-12 students in
a school-based setting. Strong knowledge of speech, language, and
communication disorders common in childhood. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adapt therapy
techniques to a diverse student population. Familiarity with
