Job Description Job Description Staff Accountant Department: Finance Location: Nashville, TN (Onsite, Monday-Friday) Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000 annually About the Role We are hiring a Staff Accountant to support a high-functioning finance team responsible for accurate, timely financial reporting and analysis. This role partners closely with the Controller and cross functional teams, balancing core accounting duties with process improvement initiatives. The position is fully onsite at the Nashville headquarters. Key Responsibilities Prepare month-end journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts Support billing, inventory, and accounts payable activities as needed Assist with preparation of subsidiary and consolidated financial statements Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Analyze financial results and prepare reports on assets, liabilities, and operating performance Develop revenue and expense forecasts based on historical trends and commitments Support year-end close, banking reviews, and regulatory or external audits Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules Create and maintain financial reports for management review Provide backup support for cost reporting, multi-state sales tax filings, inventory controls, and ERP maintenance Assist with general office administration, including answering phones and greeting visitors Perform additional duties as needed to support business operations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required) CMA certification (preferred) Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience in manufacturing, construction, or job-costing environments Experience working with ERP systems and preparing financial statements Strong account reconciliation and financial analysis skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Clear written and verbal communication skills Self-directed, hands-on approach with strong initiative Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment Must be located near BNA and able to work 100% onsite Benefits (Full-Time) Paid time off with accrued PTO hours Paid company holidays Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Parental leave Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, please visit: https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate -privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including applicable Fair Chance Ordinances.
