Finance Officer Full-Time Position Buchanan General Hospital is
seeking a highly motivated and experienced finance professional to
join our team as Assistant Chief Finance Officer. This senior-level
role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Chief
Financial Officer (CFO) to gain comprehensive knowledge of the
hospital’s financial operations and strategic planning. The
successful candidate will receive direct mentorship and training to
prepare for a seamless transition into the CFO role. Key
Responsibilities: The Assistant Chief Finance Officer will play a
critical role in ensuring the hospital’s financial health and
sustainability. Responsibilities include: Overseeing budgeting,
forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. Collaborating on
strategic financial planning and decision-making. Managing hospital
reimbursement and cost reporting processes. Supporting leadership
in maintaining regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).
Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or related) or CPA certification
(preferred). Proven experience in healthcare finance or hospital
accounting. Strong knowledge of hospital reimbursement and cost
reporting (preferred). Leadership or supervisory experience. Skills
& Competencies: In-depth understanding of healthcare financial
regulations and reimbursement processes. Exceptional analytical and
problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in financial systems and
spreadsheet management. Excellent communication and leadership
skills. High level of integrity.
